The March ASTD Meeting will be for a half hour more due to the topic
and speaker. Please advertise this and try to bring guests so we have a
full house. We will meet on Wednesday, March 17, 2004, 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

and consultant for over thirty years. She is a terrific trainer and will

government agencies, and private businesses across the country. She

for new resources on training trends and practices, so this month
I'm passing on a few cyber destinations that you may want to check
out:
American Society for Training and Development (ASTD): Of course
no such list is complete without prominent mention of ASTD, "the
world's premier professional association and leading resource on
workplace learning and performance issues"! The ASTD national
website provides information, research, analysis, and practical
information.
Employment Policy Foundation : A nonprofit, nonpartisan research
and educational foundation that focuses on workplace trends and
policies. Includes searchable articles on trends, training and
education, and workplace demographics.
GoCertify.Com: An online resource for certification information,
covering over 400 certifications from more than 40 vendors.

Improvement (ISPI): A leading international association dedicated to
improving productivity and performance in the workplace. Includes
valuable resources such as the Performance Improvement Journal for
trainers and human resource professionals.
